Little Elm Orthodontic GuideA local guide for families
About this guide

Who writes this guide, and why it recommends Elate.

Who’s behind the site, who owns it, and how the information is checked.

Who’s behind it

This site is published by Elate Orthodontics and written by its co-founder, Dr. Kevin Baharvand, a board-certified orthodontist. When it recommends Elate, that’s a recommendation from the practice’s owner. We’d rather you know that up front than find it in the fine print.

Why it exists

Search for orthodontic care in Little Elm and most of what comes back is general dental offices, review aggregators, and directory pages. Very little of it explains how to tell an orthodontist from a dentist who offers braces, how treatment fits around a Little Elm school year, or what to do if you moved here mid-treatment.

So this guide tries to answer those questions plainly, for Little Elm specifically. The practical parts, like which office is easiest from which part of town, are written for people who actually drive FM 423 and 380.

How we keep it accurate

  • Clinical guidance follows the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Board of Orthodontics, and we link to them so you can check.
  • Credentials and awards are ones we can document. We don’t use “best” unless it’s the actual name of an award.
  • Each guide shows the month it was last reviewed. Office hours and addresses are checked against Elate’s own listings.
  • We don’t name or criticize other local practices. The goal is to help you compare, using the same questions anywhere.
The doctors

Elate’s two orthodontists.

Dr. Baharvand writes this guide. He and Dr. Kang founded Elate Orthodontics in 2019 and see patients at all three offices.

Medical information

This site is general education. It can’t diagnose anything and isn’t a substitute for an exam. If something here doesn’t match what your own orthodontist or dentist told you, ask them about it. They’ve seen your teeth and we haven’t.
